Simpatica Dining Hall
This has become my favorite restaurant in the world. They only serve on Fri and Sat nights and Sunday brunches. You have to get on the mailing list to know what is being served, because it is a set prix fix menu. They only have 1 seating time, so everyone eats at the same time, which is cool, because the tables are built long, so you end up seating and talking with random folks. The food was a Pacific Northwest/Italian/French mix. I believe the concept has 3 different chefs that work there and they take turns on the menu. Either way the food is unbelievable. Since the same folks own a meat shop, the meats are definitely the star. Prices were reasonable at $35 per head. I was so impressed with their dinner, that my family went there the next day for Sunday brunch. Their brunch is a gem. I had never had biscuits and gravy that tasted that good. My french toast was amazingly rich with flavors I had never had blended together on french toast.
